An unmanned delivery vehicle is being used to provide daily necessities to around 3,000 residents under home quarantine in a medium-risk COVID-19 area of the southwestern Chinese city of Chengdu, Sichuan Province.
Five local cases and one asymptomatic infection have been confirmed recently in the city, with medium and high-risk areas placed under isolation to curb the spread of further cases.
The vehicle, which can carry up to 150 kilograms, is being used to deliver rice, flour, oil, fruit, vegetables and other daily supplies.
