On July 7, 2025, WallTech (China) Co., Ltd. had the great honor of hosting the delegation from the South Africa Supply Chain and Enterprise Development Seminar, organized by the South African Department of Trade, Industry and Competition under China’s Ministry of Commerce international cooperation program.

This milestone visit marked a significant step forward in advancing China-South Africa cooperation in the field of international logistics and supply chain digitalization.

WallTech Group CEO, Mr. Shunri Guo, led the delegation through a comprehensive visit at WallTech’s Shanghai headquarters. He delivered an in-depth presentation on the evolution of China’s international trade and logistics sector, sharing how WallTech has grown alongside China’s transformation—from traditional trade to the rise of cross-border eCommerce logistics. Mr. Guo emphasized how WallTech’s digital innovation roadmap can serve as valuable reference for South Africa’s own logistics development.

The visit was also graced by Mr. Cuijia Guo, Secretary-General of the China International Freight Forwarders Association (CIFA), who warmly welcomed the delegation. He highlighted CIFA’s ongoing commitment to global collaboration and the leading role WallTech plays as the Chair of CIFA’s Digitalization Committee.

During the main session, Mr. Guo presented WallTech’s flagship platforms—CargoWare and eTower—which are designed to address global logistics challenges such as:

• Limited shipment visibility

• Disjointed coordination among stakeholders

• High freight costs

• Delayed data synchronization

• Poor inventory turnover

• Lack of predictive risk alerts

He also shared a practical case study: a China-to-Africa project for exporting motorcycle units and parts. Initially plagued by issues such as fragmented workflows and excess inventory, the client saw significant improvements after implementing WallTech’s solution—achieving intelligent replenishment, automated exception alerts, supplier traceability, and smarter inventory turnover.

Highlighting future readiness, Mr. Guo introduced WallTech’s cutting-edge AI applications:

• Wobao AI Assistant: An intelligent chatbot for bulk order modifications, rate inquiries, and real-time tracking via natural language commands.

• AI OCR Document Recognition: Using advanced models to instantly capture, structure, and sync documents into system workflows—minimizing manual input and elevating logistics automation.

Throughout the visit, the South African delegation demonstrated high engagement and a strong commitment to advancing digital transformation. The Q&A session was lively and insightful, reflecting shared goals and mutual enthusiasm for future cooperation.

This visit not only deepened mutual understanding but also laid the groundwork for a stronger China-Africa logistics partnership.
